Bill: Church of Jelbania Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Drtárék Jelbék Prta
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2443
Description[?]:
We feel that now is the time for the state to create an established Church, that will receive official status in the nation as the Church of the Jelbanians. However this is largely a symbolic move to reaffirm the traditional role of the Christian Church within our society. All Christian Churches, whatever the denomination, will automatically belong to the C of J, creating a national Church. However denominations will be free to opt out of such a union if they so wish. Individual membership of the C of J will be purely voluntary. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Government policy concerning religions.
Old value:: There is no government policy concerning a state religion.
Current: There is no government policy concerning a state religion.
Proposed: There is an official state religion, but membership is completely voluntary.

Message | I agree, this has nothing to do with how secular the state is, it is a means of the state gathering untiy and love for a common interest and belief, it is purely praiseable. I will make efforts to join this church as a independant church that is based in Jelbania, however, I will not be in communion with their pope as we have our own. |
