Message | So basically you are trying to legalize murder (or suicide) ? |

Message | We will not accept legalized murder. |

Message | Why should a person with no chance of recovery be forbidden to take steps that would allow them to end their pain and suffering quickly instead of letting it kill them in an agonizing and slow manner? It is not as if we are talking about letting doctors kill off patients they just don't like. This would be a completely voluntary decision on the part of the patient that would also require the informed consent of the patients doctor. People already have the right to refuse medical treatments of any kind. Why not expand this to allow them options that end their suffering faster than just refusing food, water, and medication like they have to do now? |

Message | Because it has nothing to do with refusing treatment it has everything to do with one person killing another. (Because that is simply what it is killing/ending someone’s life, to make it worst you are asking the doctors to do it) Not to mention the fact that what might prove incurable today may be solved by tomorrow. |
