Bill: True Left/Right Cabinet Proposal

Details

Submitted by[?]: We Say So! Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2444

Description[?]:

Whilst we understand the difficulties of the mentioned Parties operating together we believe that, given the approaching possible international difficulties as well as the differing positions within the Nation as a whole, this cabinet provides balance between the differing positions, most crucially in the important areas of policy making. These reasons are explained below:

- HoG - HoG is given to the HPP. This is to provide balance to the FPoH as Emperor Elect.
- Foreign Affairs - Foreign Affairs handed to CSP. We believe the CSP is more than qualified to deal with any international situation and, moreover, does not provide large swaths of power to one Party as primary international policy will need to be discussed by the 3 major Parties in cabinet.
- Defence - Defence is given to WSS!P. Again, to further guarantee that control is split between the Parties in cabinet, it guarantees that none of the major Parties may attempt to completely over rule each other due to increased power within the cabinet and continues to force discussion and balance between the cabinet positions.
- Internal Affairs - IA is given to the HPP. In regards this, they most closely follow similar policies to the Cabinet proposing Party.
- Justice - Justice is given to the FPoH. In this regard, internal security is split between the left and right guaranteeing that internal security and its policy decisions are equitable to both the left and right of this great nation whilst guaranteeing that overall power is not given to one Party more than any other.

These are the basic breakdowns of what we believe to be the crucial positions in government at this time, although this does not in any way denigrate the other cabinet positions as they are all crucial to the operation of this Country.

We hope that this proposal is acceptable by all those involved as it provides, in the opinion of the WSS!P, the best means of providing all aspects of this great nation into one viable, if slightly stressed, cabinet.

MessageSeems a fair compromise- the CSP always enjoys the Foreign Affairs post, though it was nice as PM for a bit.
