Message | Education isn't compulsory, but if it were this would take even more rights out of the hands of youth. They need to learn to handle rights early, you are just taking wisdom, not knowledge but WISDOM, out of reach. |
Date | 18:44:07, August 19, 2007 CET | From | Democratic Rationalists (PrCoa) | To | Debating the Educational Reforms (Part 2) |
Message | We're not sure how we feel about this. We'd like some discussion on where the appropriate age for basic education to end should be. |
Date | 18:44:22, August 19, 2007 CET | From | Democratic Rationalists (PrCoa) | To | Debating the Educational Reforms (Part 2) |
Message | We're voting yes for now. But we're open to change our vote. |
Date | 04:28:31, August 20, 2007 CET | From | Industrialist Party of Aloria | To | Debating the Educational Reforms (Part 2) |
Message | It's been 16 for years DR, why fix it if it isn't broken? Anyhow, don't you think someone would be smart enough to choose to stay in school or not by the time they are 16? |
Date | 15:45:55, August 20, 2007 CET | From | Social Liberalism Party | To | Debating the Educational Reforms (Part 2) |
Message | Students should have the option to leave school if they feel their lives would be better spent in non-academic fields. If everyone was forced to finish high school before beginning voluntary learning then the number of qualified tradespeople would plummet without the vital school-leaving apprentice. |

Random fact: It is the collective responsibility of the players in a nation to ensure all currently binding RP laws are clearly outlined in an OOC reference bill in the "Bills under debate" section of the nation page. Confusion should not be created by displaying only some of the current RP laws or displaying RP laws which are no longer current. |
