Bill: Healthcare Reform Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Partie Traditionnelle de Monarchiste
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2447
Description[?]:
The morass of socialised medicine is unacceptable in a free society such as Alduria and this obscenity must be struck down. The system of socialised medicine makes for poor care, overpriced services (a burden carried by all tax-payers), little to no innovation, and less efficient means of providing healthcare to the citizens of this great nation. We must return to a policy of non-intervention in the healthcare industry. |

Date | 23:14:01, August 22, 2007 CET | From | Partie Traditionnelle de Monarchiste | To | Debating the Healthcare Reform Act |
Message | If the free market is allowed to function, all can find healthcare within their price range. Competition lowers prices. Already, every citizen pays for healthcare that is inefficient and of low quality. We must allow the market to create efficiency, low prices, and quality or our healthcare is doomed to shambles. Furthermore, we must think of the future. What incentive is there is innovate in this system? How will we continue progressing in healthcare if it is stuck in the socialist cesspit |
