Message | Article 1: A good idea by itself. Article 2: The opposite of a good idea. Genetic modification has been taking place throughout human history by crop and animal breeding. Current advances in genetic science make the production of new strains less dangerous, not more. Article 3: Chemical pest control can be beneficial when used in moderation. We support the current legislation: people can make an informed decision to produce pesticide-free food if they wish. Bottom line: we will not support this bill. |

Message | (1) The CWFP stands for FREE TRADE!!! I can't believe the trend here: we are against Free Trade in farm subsides but support it in selling weapons to Terrorists??? (2) GM Foods LOWER the cost of food in this country thus helping poor families stretch their shopping list budget. (3) This is ok. |

Message | I'm not sure if this was directed at me but I've never supported the idea of selling weapons to Terrorists, At least not intentionally. |

Message | "Article 2: The opposite of a good idea. Genetic modification has been taking place throughout human history by crop and animal breeding. Current advances in genetic science make the production of new strains less dangerous, not more." This baseless claim is comparing cross breading within the bounds of Mother Nature to drastic genetic manipulation, and it's silly. GM is in the early stages of testing and development. There is no way you can say for certain it's less dangerous. Let other countries try this madness out at least, then we can gauge from their prosperity (or failure) where messing with Mother Earth is a good idea. |

Message | McGillicuddy, I was not aiming the comment DIRECTLY at you but to the Legislature as a WHOLE which recently passed a bill allowing the FREE EXPORT of weapons to all nations, whether enemies or allies. |

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election. |
