Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2447
Description[?]:
Cantons are clearly more fit to deal with the matters of civil defense, ít should be noted we are not talking about national defense here, but simply the act of constructing shelters to use in case of conflict. Cantons know where they are best put in use and how many are needed. |

Message | We are strongly opposed to this recent federalist movement. Allowing local governments to control things leads to inconsitency, and confusion. A citizen can get arrested for doing something in another part of the country, which is perfectly legal and natural in their home area. We believe a single central authority should control things. |

Message | Indeed, the government will always listen to the advice of local authorities on shelter placement. The authority should remain with the national government. |
