Message | Actually considering the amount of money we are bringing in from this I would advocate this remainging constant so as to prevent the massive budget deficit (sp?) that this would bring. |

Message | There wouldn't be a budget deficit, I planned well. The increase in the non-essential tax rate, plus the addition of the Corporation Tax (which was included previously, so where it's gone I'm not sure) would cover the reduction in this tax rate. The only reason we are lowering this is to guarantee food, clothing etc supplies to our poorest citizens, otherwise we wouldn't even be considering this. |

Message | Until we can see the coproration tax figures and the effects of our other laws then it is hard to say what will happen. I'll vote for for the moment but when the figures come expect change. |

Message | This seems fair enough. Don't forget, in the UK (not sure about US) we do not pay VAT (sales tax) on food, children's clothing and similar essential items. |
