Message | We agree with article 1 but disagree with article 2. |
Date | 02:41:48, August 25, 2007 CET | From | Party for the Republic | To | Debating the Reform Bill of 2446 |
Message | We need to ensure freedom of movement, even if the market doesn't find it convenient. Where private companies cannot function, the state will provide. |

Message | That would be a step back. It would eventually lead to harmful effects over the sector such as a decline in private investment and/or degradation of the private rail sector (with a consequent decrease in quality, efficiency and avaiability). Besides, it would imply a counterproductive raise in the budget and we are not willing to follow the Liberal Democrat/Loyalist Governments steps. In summary: there is no need for a State owned and operated TOC. |

Message | A step in the right direction, but not enough. Will support though. |

Random fact: Cabinet ministers who disagree seriously with the head of government would usually be expected to resign. Parties within the cabinet may attempt to manoeuvre to replace the head of government though, for example by proposing a new cabinet bill or voting for an early election. |
