Description[?]:
The Three Star General, Veteran of Foreign Wars, Proud Patriot of Jelbania and the Honorable Minister of Defense, Gen. William Hornathew Buck proposes the following military reform act: Due to recent military engagements, it is necessary to modernize our military forces that will properly reflect the Strength and Beauty of Our Great Nation that is the Federal Republic of Jelbania. God, Almighty, and Christ Our Lord and Savior Bless Her and Give her the Power to Vanquish Her Enemies like an Avenging Archangel Swooping Down from the Heavens Raining Death and Cold Fury Upon the Bedevilled Enemies of these Fair Shores. Thus the following Articles are Proposed: 1) The Government Shall Fund and Give Funding to the Maintenance and Good Standing of Shelters that will Ensure Our Great and Mighty Nation is Prepared for Both Natural Disasters and Foreign Attacks. 2) Recent rioting perpetrated by those of the Jelbek nationality lead us to believe that these seperatist Jelbeks are not to be trusted with weapons and must be banned from Military Service that Involves Weapons. Comprehensive Background checks will be undertaken and if there is History of Subversive Seperatist Behavior, they will be Blacklisted from armed service, due to Obvious Dangers to National Security. 3) The sale of Arms Shall be Henceforth--Aw shoot. I'll be honest with ya'll. I just don't mighty like you administrative suit types breathin' down my neck. There's money to be made from some sellin' and buyin', and if I have to go an' git your damn signature on each an' every one of 'em, I can't mighty well do my job, now can I? 4) This article calls for the Restitution of the Amazon Battalion Unit. |

Message | CCU strongly opposes articles 2, 3, and 4. Race and religion should not be considered as qualification for the military. We STILL need to be careful about where we export our weapons. Finally, women should be treated as equals alongside men. |
