Bill: Mandatory Vote Explanation Act of 2447

Details

Submitted by[?]: 帝国公明党 (Teikoku Kōmeitō)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2448

Description[?]:

The DSP feels that for the good of the people, that is so they know how there representatives feel, all votes, excluding those that are obvious (like voting for our national be the cock-rocket etc.), should require a mandatory explanation of why each party votes for or against it.

OOC:
It's really boring when there is no debate for most of the bills, and it helps in the creation of future bills if we know why bills are voted against.

MessageFair enough, but there's really no way I can see to enforce it, besides being dicks and downvoting any proposals the party makes.

And I agree, since people would obviously vote overwhelmingly for a National Cock-Rocket, freebies like those should go without saying.

MessageI don't find this very necessary except for RP bills. Voting for actual articles is mostly about a party's set ideology, and it is only rarely that a party will change its vote on an ideologically charged bill.

But I'll support anyways, because it's a well-meaning idea that would (hopefully) increase participation.
