Message | I do not think that this is a wise thing to do. This is against child's rights to choose their own religion. From personal experience, religious schools are probably the worst thing that a non-religious teenager could ever go through. I urge all parties to reconsider and to think before they act. |

Message | We'd like to remind the MSP that the modification to the legal status of religious schools does not really change the status quo, but instead is a modifier to go along with the proposed policy of the non-recognition of religion by the government. That said, the proposal is not really about that article, but about the principle as a whole. As long as the practicing of the religion is not done to the endangerment of the life, limb, or liberty of others, it should be allowed, and the government should stay out of it, period. When it comes to religious schools, all we are talking here are schools held to the same curriculum and education standards applied to any private school in the Republic. We can't just ban them, if they hold to the same standards. |
