1. We recognise that energy is a essential part of our lives and that it should not be provided by private companies but by the Goverement

2. We know that private companies cannot be guranteed to provide us the required energy.

3. We understand that private companies may flutuate their prices solely for profit.

4. We agree that energy should be provided by nationaled companies.

MessageSo, nationalisation then.
Whilst we understand and agree with the principal, we must also look at what is most cost effective for the government and the tax payers. Currently our legislation in regards production of energy allows private individuals, not companies, to produce electricity for their own use, with surplus being made available to the National Grid at an agreed upon price. This allows individuals to utilse solar power, miniature wind turbines, etc.
In regards article 2, there is no requirement to bring the provision of energy "in house". This would cost more tax payers money whilst removing the competitive element from the service provision that the private companies currently allows.

MessageWe don't think a very-small scale- wind turbine linked up to a generator counts as a powerstation. And even if they do, we would rather the goverment control all powerstations- individuals that do utilize small-scale windturbines and solar panels do so only for the money that they will save- a purely capitalist concept.
