To streamline the Malivian police enforcement agencies. As the law stands and through the most recently defeated bill this issue deserves Parliaments attention. Message | It is the belief of the Maliavian National Unity Front that the old law that set procedure for a national and local police departments creates nothing but confusion. It is in the interests of all of us to ensure optimal protection of the citizens within this Republic. Creating two umbrella organizations left with the task to police the nation-clearly this is not optimal. We live in times that can provide better, more effective and efficient means to serve and protect our citizens. This bill merely aims to streamline the entire enforcement of law within Malivian borders. It is established that the military and police forces are separate entities and separated further by law. It is not the intention to consolidate power within the confines of the federal government. I support a federally funded police agency with policy decisions to a major degree left to local governments. This bill doesn't go to the point of the M.N.U.F.'s core principals however, it is meant to reach a conclusion that will satisfy all in order to protect Malivians. |

Message | We holehardedly agree with our freinds in the M.N.U.F. |
Date | 10:09:53, September 01, 2007 CET | From | New Conservative Party of Malivia | To | Debating the Uniform Police Act of 2448 |
Message | As has been stated previously, the New Conservative Party is wholeheartedly in favour of devolution and the rights of local governments. It is our opinion that local police departments allow greater catering to the specific needs of communities than one national police force could. |

Message | As is, there are local and federal police departments. I wonder if this is what the New Conservative Party of Malivia finds favorable as your vote reflects it? I would ask the same out of the P.P. but, I'd expect nothing less honestly. |

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too. |
