Bill: Regulation of Foreign Meddling

Details

Submitted by[?]: Malivi Revolutionary Front

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2451

Description[?]:

Comrades!

It has recently come to our attention that it is possible - through a loophole that was, without a doubt, INTENTIONALLY placed in Malivian law by the local allies of foreign imperialists and colonial interests - for outside interests to take over companies that are of vital importance to Malivia. The MRF demands that the authority of untrustworthy local governments to negotiate deals with foreign capitalists be immediately rescinded, and that the central government take over that responsibility at once.

MessageThe M.N.U.F. supports the rights of local governments to dictate such measures. We're against a further expanding federal government and this does not align with our platform whatsoever. Furthermore, the fear of foreign investments is entirely unfounded if you look at the percentage of foreign investments within Malivia.
