| Message | The GTP's Finance Minister has inspected the income distribution of our country: it seems that absolutely none of our citizens have an income of over 20 000, and most have an income around 5 000. Hence we think that taxing everything over 5 000 at 5% and adding 5% more for every 5 000 after that, will be a relatively safe thing to do. It is certainly not too high, so it won't choke the economy, and it is also not too low to be insufficient. We intend this to be a non-partisan proposal, and hope to be supported. |
