Bill: Anti-Codification of Atheism Act of July 2451
Details
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 2452
Description[?]:
This party believes that that rising tide of militant secularims in our nation threatens the very bedrock of our traditions and faith. A wholly secular state is not holy, and even worse provides fertile ground for atheism and false religion. To combat this directly, this party proposes the following: Article I. Teachers are encouraged to allow prayers in school, to instill a sense of faith in the developing minds of our young ones. Article II. As this party believes that institutions of faith are a public service, we propose legislation that state will directly support it's ministers. Article III. Allows religious schools to operate openly without intervention from the state. Families of faith should not have to subject their children to a bombardment of secular philosophy. |
