Bill: Foreign Influence Control Act of October 2451
Details
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 2452
Description[?]:
This party holds that this nation receives far too many undesirable and disruptive tourists, ambassadors, and immigrants. To end this we propose a wide amount of legislation aimed at minimizing the chances of foreign spies and saboteurs entering our nation. Article I. All visitors must receive special permission from our Foreign Office. All visitors must have a verifiable reason for entering our country and pass a screening process. Article II. As embassies are beds of intelligence gathering and other black ops, this nation should only allow it's Allies access inside our borders lest we allow our enemies to plant agents in our nation under the current niceties of diplomatic protocol. Article III. All immigrants, in addition to a careful background screening, must have qualifications that this nation finds desirable. Article IV. Lest we allow false religion to spread, the Foreign Office should screen missionaries on a religion by religion basis. |
