MessageThe DSP is for and against parts of this bill.

Article 1
Evangelism and unregulated religious advertising are dangerous, not only because they can preach bigotry, but also because children should not be exposed to religion until they are old enough to understand what it is.

Article 2
The DSP is not against this part.

Article 3
There is a separation of Church and state and this violates that.

Article 4
Religious schools are incredibly dangerous and teach lies, they can not be allowed to exist.

MessagePlato's Republicans cannot endorse this bill without serious revisions. While in spirit it is a noble goal to allow religious freedom, this proposal goes too far in too many ways. Primarily, on several points which my esteemed colleagues from the DSP have already elaborated upon, this proposal violates the separation of Government and Religion. We cannot agree to the proposals contained within this bill as it stands now.

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation.

Random quote: "Those who say religion has nothing to do with politics do not know what religion is." - Mahatma Gandhi
