Message | Fixed government - the cabinet as planned before the constitutional issues. With only 2 years now before another election, I don't see any problem with RPC getting a slightly bigger share of the pie if it will just pass this quickly. |
Date | 15:01:14, September 08, 2007 CET | From | Democratic Labour Party of Cobura | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of June 2452 |
Message | This is an undemocratic government, the people democratically elected Edward Knight as Head of Government, |

Message | the parliament is democratically elected and as such has the right to elect its HoG |
Date | 15:30:02, September 08, 2007 CET | From | Democratic Labour Party of Cobura | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of June 2452 |
Message | The people had the right at the last election, the term from that election is not over yet. You choose to give them that right and as such that right should last, in a true democracy, for the entire term of the presiding officer, that the people elected as head of government |
Date | 15:38:43, September 08, 2007 CET | From | Party for Individualism and Kitties | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of June 2452 |
Message | but the parliament is democratic, too. It has the right to make laws etc., so nothing is undemocratic about this cabinet. |
Date | 15:44:06, September 08, 2007 CET | From | Democratic Labour Party of Cobura | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of June 2452 |
Message | There is everything undemocratic abnout it, like it or not the Head of State was also elected as Head of Government, the people elected that for the entire term of office, not for half a term, but the whole term. You cannot turn around and change that when the opeople already voted for it. |
Date | 15:54:32, September 08, 2007 CET | From | Coburan Conservative Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of June 2452 |
Message | You were the one who blackmailed us into reseperating the HoS and PO positions with your actions... The majority cabinet will act to ensure the nation can run effectively. |
Date | 15:57:36, September 08, 2007 CET | From | Democratic Labour Party of Cobura | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of June 2452 |
Message | This cabinet will be running illegally, without the democratic will of the peopkle, and we also wondering why the socialists of the Revolutionary Party would choose to prop up, what is by all intent and purpose, a right wing government |
Date | 16:14:41, September 08, 2007 CET | From | Coburan Conservative Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of June 2452 |
Message | Not really - you hijacked democracy by throwing together so many endorsements and then abusing your position to try and run me out of government. Had I known that would happen I'd have endorsed RPC or PfI to prevent this crisis. Instead, you attack what would otherwise have been a successful and moderate government. |
Date | 18:06:59, September 08, 2007 CET | From | Coburan Reform Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of June 2452 |
Message | Moderate? What the hell are you talking about, The government would have been anything but moderate, A mix of Communists and Right wingers, Sounds anything but moderate |
Date | 18:13:23, September 08, 2007 CET | From | Coburan Conservative Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of June 2452 |
Message | We cancel each other out very well, if you notice PFI and RPC often vote together on some issues, FP and I vote together on others but economically we all have to work together. |
Date | 18:21:16, September 08, 2007 CET | From | Democratic Labour Party of Cobura | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of June 2452 |
Message | We are a party that thinks the democratic will of the people should be respect and they elected Edward Knight as Head of Government for an entire term, and this hasn't changed, and won't be changed |
Date | 18:29:55, September 08, 2007 CET | From | Coburan Conservative Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of June 2452 |
Message | I've pretty clearly destroyed your argument regarding democracy. Just because you keep saying it does not make it true. |

Date | 18:45:43, September 08, 2007 CET | From | Coburan Conservative Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of June 2452 |
Message | "We all voted to seperate the Parliament and the Head of State. And now we are rebuilding the cabinet in the wake of that to the original arrangement. We have not acted any less democratically than you, especially considering the nature of your "victory" in the PO election." The Assembly majority coalition, which does not include nor is required to include you, is now moving to create a cabinet. This is democratic because it has been followed for years. You voted on both times to ensure the HoS and HoG positions remained seperate, you cannot now claim that one entitles you to the other. You are clutching at straws because your party has failed, as have your co-conspirators. RPC, despite having politics completely opposite to myself, has emerged from this as reasonable, where as you have emerged looking ridiculous. To continue to claim you are acting democratically is a joke and an insult, as the reasonable legislative majority continues to form a government according to the rules that you voted for. Your grip over the HoS alone is weak enough to be a controversy, do not press on for what you cannot sustain. |

Date | 23:34:04, September 08, 2007 CET | From | Revolucia Partio de Koburo | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of June 2452 |
