MessageNo more welfare state handouts and giveaways. Free college leads to its decline. People who shouldn't go go and it ruins it from everybody involved. Not to mention the waste of money.

MessageThis proposal seems unnecessary, let the education facilities themselves co-ordinate the scholarship programs.

MessageBy "people who shouldn't go" you mean the poor? Anyone who isn't from the proper families? What a sad attempt at defending the status quo.

MessageNo. People who aren't smart enough. Some people would be a better help if the unclogged toilets then becoming doctors.

MessageIt's simple enough. Right now people who shouldn't go, can go because they have the money. While people who should, can't, because they don't. Right now being smart enough isn't a criterion, being rich enough is. It's plutocractic, not meritocractic.

And where in our constitution does it say that the government decides who becomes a doctor and who becomes a janitor? Perhaps another name change is in order; how does 'Keepers of the Upper Class' sound?

MessageThere are scholarships.

Besides, we have a perfectly good and free K-12 system. This system prepares people enough for holding a job and feeding themselves and their family. We can't send everyone to college, it just isn't practical. If those who's parents can't afford it want it they can do good in school, get scholarships, and work a part time job. It is not impossible, despite what you may think.

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election.

Random quote: "Let's not forget that we belong to history, that history that men and women who fought before did, that history that men and women who are fighting now will do." - Tera Pisthis, former Selucian politician
