Details

Submitted by[?]: 帝国公明党 (Teikoku Kōmeitō)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2453

Description[?]:

Nearly Two Years Ago the DSP put to vote the adding of the Republic of Talmoria to the Sekowan Intelligence Directorate's Watch list do to instabilities and possible threats to us by some aspects of their government.

However in the time since the country ha shown a remarkable change, and we now believe that they are no longer a threat to us and should thusly be removed from the SID watch list.

As per the SID Legislative voting initiative all countries added to surveillance must be voted into and out of said category, thusly this bill will require more parties vote in favour than not.

MessageCeC will support this bill, but we will express our continued dissatisfaction at having a system like this which is more about politicking and not about true national security.

MessageTechnically this list is supposed to be about politics.

Nations that the SID itself deems dangerous are already in its watch list.

The legislatives ability to add nations to the list is more to make the Representatives more aware of the possibility of threats and, if other nations are watching see our dissatisfaction with them.
