Message | ICE could, perhaps, support Article I by itself. As to Article II, we will accept no mandatory service. We disagree with both your proposed Article III and the current prisoner of war treatment. |
Date | 03:24:56, September 11, 2007 CET | From | Justice League of Cildania | To | Debating the Enhanced Military Act |
Message | Historically it has always gone better for governments that make a clear split between domestic police and military. Military with the power to police tend to view the populace as enemy combatants, and the policed stated tends to devolve into an occupied state. The JLC opposes all three. |
Date | 03:29:04, September 11, 2007 CET | From | Imperial Cildanian Egoists | To | Debating the Enhanced Military Act |
Message | Given the nature of the few things that are still illegal in our society, might it not make sense to view criminals as enemy combatants? We have little left to police, beyond rapists, murderers, and thieves. |
Date | 04:24:06, September 11, 2007 CET | From | Action | To | Debating the Enhanced Military Act |
Message | There must be a line between the Civilian and Military police. The Military Exists to destroy the enemies of the people of the Nation. The Police exists to protect the people from those who wish them harm. If the two are combined the risk of the military seeing the people as the enemy runs to grave. |

Message | Rapists. Murderers. Thieves. Now that we have the Looters and the Moochers under control, what greater enemies are left to "the people of the Nation"? |
