Bill: Free T-Shirts for Socialists
Details
Submitted by[?]: Monarchism Démocratique et Fédéral
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2454
Description[?]:
This bill calls for billions of T-shirts to be made and given freely to any member of the Secular Party, the Proletarian Relief Party, the Socialist Reformist Party, or the Socialist Egalitarian Movement. The T-shirts are to be white with big, red, circular targets on the front and back. Since the socialists are getting free T-shirts, it's only fair to add the minor provision that private gun ownership be legalized as well, so that the other parties will also vote for this bill. Remember, "Lourenne was built from a trade." Senator Stefan Tepeu |

Message | The Secular Party is grateful for these shirts as they will be a welcome source of food and warmth in the imminent shortage of consumables. The Grand Council of the Secular Party |
Date | 02:32:17, September 12, 2007 CET | From | Society For A Free And Safe Lourenne | To | Debating the Free T-Shirts for Socialists |
Message | We whole heartedly agree with our comrades of the great secular party that this is a fantastic proposal by the redemption party. Free shirts and bullets for the communists! |
Date | 05:16:09, September 12, 2007 CET | From | 帝国公明党 (Teikoku Kōmeitō) | To | Debating the Free T-Shirts for Socialists |
Message | The DSP would like to request one of these T-shirts, even though we're not a Lourennian party. We would like to see if Lourennian clothes making is superior to the other countries we currently purchase clothes from. |
Date | 07:34:17, September 12, 2007 CET | From | Socialist Reformist Party | To | Debating the Free T-Shirts for Socialists |
Message | Why manufacture billions of t-shirts? Lourenne only got 36 million people or so... Another example of the lack of economic sense in the capitalist camp! |
Date | 16:50:15, September 12, 2007 CET | From | Monarchism Démocratique et Fédéral | To | Debating the Free T-Shirts for Socialists |
Message | We need to ensure that each socialist citizen can wear a clean T-shirt every day for a month, so 36 million just wouldn't be enough. And the DSP is welcome to any surplus T-shirts, although we discourage anyone from wearing one of these shirts unless he or she truly supports the Secular Party's current administration.
