Following their schooling, or at the age of adulthood, youg Lodamunians shall be invited to serve in the Lodamun Youth Corps for a period of not less than one month and not more than one year. This term, which will be free of charge to the participant, will see each young person give back to their community. They may elect to serve in any one of: - volunteer community policing, helping maintain a violence-free atmosphere in troubled communities - Vox Pop TV or Radio, learning media operations - the national parks service, doing research or caring for the parks system - recycling and re-use depots, helping to ensure a sustainable ecosystem - hospitals, working with people who are ill or in long-term care |
