Bill: Cabinet Proposal of October 2455

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberty Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2456

Description[?]:

We've included our supporters, the Neo-Libertarian Party, along with the Cavalier Party equally in this cabinet.
We've also, as an encouragement to a new party that shares our free economic agenda, the Stoic Party, as the Minister of Finance.
As this cabinet is beneficial to all parties concerned, I'll put it to the vote now.

MessageTo better represent the people, shouldn't only (active) parties that hold seats hold some cabinet position, though most likely this would mean finding a position where the party has common ground with the president's party.

Parties like the RSFA, have no representation and hold the second highest ammounts of seats, while the Stoic party holds none yet would have a cabinet position.

Other parties could find cabinet positions where their ideaology would not be at odds with the current administration.

OOC: Also I have no idea what I am doing and don't want to screw anything up.

MessageI'm not including the RSFA because of their socialist agenda. This current cabinet will work perfectly, as all all parties agree economically, and excluding the Cavalier's slight social conservative factions, we a Social Liberals.

This will be an active cabinet, the Neo-Libertarians have being showing up for National Directory votes more. And as the finance minister, all you have to do is balance the budget, if they don't have a feature to help you with that, I'm sure you can do it with a calculator.
Just go to the Zardugal page, view cabinet, view executive powers page, scroll down to the finance minister, and set the income tax and spending budget, then propose them.
This cabinet would like to see massive cuts in everything but defense, education and the police force.

The finance position is cake. Like Liberty said, just pull out a calculator! If you foul up, we'll be there to ridicule you.

Not really.

Random fact: When your party holds the foreign affairs department, you can create new treaties. However, before writing anything new, it is a good idea to search for existing treaties which already accomplish what you desire.
