Bill: Food and Beverage Labeling

Details

Submitted by[?]: Scientific Libertarian Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 2457

Description[?]:

Our policy on labeling restrictions has always been this: Requiring companies to label their products wastes government resources. There are plenty of websites that exist to share information about products. If a consumer cares what they put into their body, they can consult these websites. If they don't care, why should we waste their money making sure that the information is on the label?

Libertarian's, I can be wrong, so correct me if so, belive that the goverment should generally enforce as few thigns as possible, and they also belive that if people don't want to do something, then, they shouldn't have to

Random fact: It is the collective responsibility of the players in a nation to ensure all currently binding RP laws are clearly outlined in an OOC reference bill in the "Bills under debate" section of the nation page. Confusion should not be created by displaying only some of the current RP laws or displaying RP laws which are no longer current.
