Bill: The national refugee policy.

Details

Submitted by[?]: Tuatha Dé Danann

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2458

Description[?]:

Altough welcoming refugees is a good measure, allowing them in for ANY reason, is not. We may be harbouring fugitives and possibly worse... Everyone can claim at this point that they are a refugee. We have no means of checking.

We propose to still allow refugees, but only the ones truely needing it, the ones living under extreme circumstances in their home country. We will still be providing integration aid. This is in their benefit as well as it is ours.

With this we can even improve our nation's relationship towards others. We will never be accused of aiding a felon, and be praised for helping the legit refugees.

MessageWhen our party's Extradition Act is passed, then there could be no suggestion that we are aiding criminals. This proposal does not address that problem, and is in fact a myopic and dangerous road to travel down.

MessageSounds very much hypocritical. At this point we even let in drugdealers and mass murderers in as a refugee, just because they have a used napkin with REFUGEE written on it with them. How are you supposed to keep them out? Even minimal border control got opposed by your party too.

How can this be a dangerous road to travel down? It, again, does completely the opposite. By clearing out felons who enter the nation as a refugee, we decrease criminality, making our nation a less dangerous place to be.

Looking at your parties recent comments, we expect this to be more of a vendetta than an intellectual reply. If it however is regarded by you as an intellectual debating statement, we pitty your party.

MessageAny drug dealers or mass murderers will be returned to the country from which they came. Under this proposal, you risk refusing those who are truly deserving.

Our party has no vendetta against any other. We simply oppose those parties which do not have the education to create and pass laws for the peace and good government of this nation.

By that you mean that you are politically correct?

MessageWe mean that both the Red Hammer Council and the National Unity Alliance are made up of uneducated fools who do damage to this nation by putting forward proposals that any sensible person would find ridiculous.

MessageI think someone is a bit stressed because they lost in the latest election to these so called "fools". I wonder, if you lose against fools, what does that make you....?

MessageThats the same as answering "Yes we are politically correct". So thank you for confirming that.

MessageYou will notice that both the Head of State and Head of Government are members of our party. We fail to see how we lost. The number of seats we hold decreased, as our party has been less active recently, but we are still the largest party by a decent margin.

MessageThe largest party this far. There used to be no parties who dared to disagree. Now there are 2. And they instantly stole your seats. Your parties days are counted.

MessageStrictly speaking, the majority of the seats came from the United Progress Party, who disbanded during the last term.

Random fact: Alduria, Rildanor and Lourenne all have Canrilaise (French) cultures.

Random quote: "Colonialism or imperialism, as the slave system of the West is called, is not something that is just confined to England or France or the United States. The interests in this country are in cahoots with the interests in France and the interests in Britain. It's one huge complex or combine, and it creates what's known not as the American power structure or the French power structure, but an international power structure. This international power structure is used to suppress the masses of dark-skinned people all over the world and exploit them of their natural resources." Malcolm X
