| Message | This bill DOES protect Rutanian Farmers b/c it our farmers will EXPORT their BIOTECHNOLOGY (gm foods) to the agricultural countries while the other countries will export their raw goods. Remember what Adam Smith and David Ricardo (The Fathers of Capitalism) said: Nation should ONLY export goods/services that they have a COMPARATIVE ADVANTAGE in. Rutanian Farmers have a comparative advantage biotechnology as a service while farmers from the Third World have a comparative advantage in the physical agricultural goods. It is a WIN-WIN situation. What is the difference whether our farmers sell corn OR sell the knowledge on how the corn can be mass produced. In fact, our farmers can make even HIGHER profits doing the latter. |
