MessageThough baseball is a classic pass time for generations of our citizens, its popularity has wained. We the Replicant Liberal Party suggest a new official national sport, and nominate bowling, a game that knows no boundaries between ages, genders or races, and can be found in towns all across the nation.

Before putting this to a vote, we'd like further suggestions on what you, the fellow congressmen of Aldegar, consider your favorite sports and activities, and for a majority agreement to be reached on this issue. Any other nominations?

Sincerely,
The Replicant Liberal Party

MessageThe South Shore Party and the zero people we represent feel that the tradition, athleticism and strategy that goes into baseball best underscore the values that we hold dear as a nation. Bowling, while a fun recreation, will never draw the crowds that our current baseball teams do.

MessageWhat about Football? Not the brutal game, but more along the lines of Soccer. Soccer has been a popular sport even before Aldegar was formed. I believe that baseball is our heritage as is Soccer. Because, however, many of Emblems party members were once record fencers, fencing doesn't sound distasteful. We will back fencing but also add Soccer to the list of pastimes.

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there.

Random quote: "We are told that this is an odious and unpopular tax. I never knew a tax that was not odious and unpopular with the people who paid it." - John Sherman
