Message | With our (mostly) private education and healthcare system, the government has no need to waste this amount of money on systems they don't even fund directly. Thus we propose to greatly reduce spending in these areas and use the money saved to cut taxes. |
Date | 00:06:36, September 22, 2007 CET | From | Lodamun Greens Party | To | Debating the Budget proposal of February 2459 |
Message | They are both quite dramatic reductions. |
Date | 06:02:28, September 23, 2007 CET | From | United Republics Party | To | Debating the Budget proposal of February 2459 |
Message | i agree. our health/education were once totally public there's no reason to believe the privatization would require the ssame amout of public dollars to fund |
Date | 13:31:57, September 23, 2007 CET | From | Radical Nationalist Party | To | Debating the Budget proposal of February 2459 |
Message | No, not at all! |
Date | 05:03:38, September 24, 2007 CET | From | Lodamun Greens Party | To | Debating the Budget proposal of February 2459 |
Message | While the increased ammounts in Environmental and Tourism funding are something that our party agrees is needed the cuts in funding do not coincide with our desire for both free education and healthcare. We see cutting this funding as taking even more steps away from the Lodamese peoples right to free health care and education. |
