Bill: Re-introducing consent into organ donation
Details
Submitted by[?]: Demokratisk Pacifist Partiet
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2461
Description[?]:
Although we fully encourage citizens to donate their organs, we recognize that some may not want to do so for reasons religous or otherwise. Even though we disagree with their decision, we must allow them the right to deny their organs for donation if they choose to do so. Of course, we will assume that citizens who don't say otherwise either want to donate their organs or don't care what happens to them so that citizens who, for one reason or another, fail to make their desires known still provide our hospitals with their organs after death. This way, we continue to save the lives of many people by organ donations while allowing the few who wish to withhold their organs to do so. |

Message | Denying others to use of your dead organs is an act of egoism, pure and simple. No religion or "otherwise" advocates egoism. And religion of any sort is dangerous anti-productive supersticion anyway. |

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election. |
