MessageI disagree. Education should be free and not compromised by the private sector, and there are so many ways that system can get corrupted, especially using vouchers! imagine the black market. besides, the government would have to spend so much on means testing thoroughly that it would hardly be worth what they would save.

MessageI tend to operate under the assumption that governments are wasteful and corrupt. Therefore, the only way to really make things work is to give the power back to the people. As for the voucher black market, the intent behind the voucher is to have them worth an exact amount. You couldn't sell them off, because they'd only be worth a certain monetary amount anyways.

MessageThe government would not need to means test the school, the voucher would just cover a certain amount, usually a percentage of the bill and students would decide whether they would take it up or not .
