I believe that a majority of ALL members, should be needed for a union to go on strike. If they don't care to vote, they probably don't care for the cause and would rather keep on making money. |

Message | No. If we applied the same principle to any other ballot, it would be unfair. Say, if we had a referendum, it would be wrong to put all of the uncast votes into one pile or another, as it would likely bias the outcome. If enough union members don't care and want to go to work the strike will fail anyway, so there'd be no need to make it illegal. |
