| Message | No. If we applied the same principle to any other ballot, it would be unfair. Say, if we had a referendum, it would be wrong to put all of the uncast votes into one pile or another, as it would likely bias the outcome. If enough union members don't care and want to go to work the strike will fail anyway, so there'd be no need to make it illegal. |
