| The DSP believes that the current Executive structure, that is a single position holding the powers of Head of State and Head of Government needs to be changed. As many may remember it was roughly 8 years ago the DSP proposed such a change, but as we had only just gotten rid of the monarchy, we were convinced that it was for the best to wait to see how things went before going any further with the issue. As such we have waited, and we still believe the best Executive structure is one in which the Head of State and Head of Government are two separate elected officials. Therefore we proposes that the powers of HoS and HoG be vested in two separate elected officials. |
