Message | Sales Taxes tend to be REGRESSIVE on the poor at the expense of the Wealthy who tend not to spend and/or consume that much but rather save. Vox & D-E-M: You will regret your vote for this REGRESSIVE sales tax b/c you are betraying your working class (socialist) base. |

Message | We need money because YOU SCREWED UP THE ECONOMY!!! JUST BECAUSE YOU SAY 1700 RUT = $100000 DOESN'T MAKE IT SO! |

Message | I NEVER said 1700 RUT = $100,000; I said 17,000 RUT = $100,000. 17,000 RUT equals $100,000 b/c that was highest tax bracket. Regardless of the currency conversion formula, Rutania did NOT have a budget gap of -40 Billion UNTIL you and the others voted to cut the LUXURY TAX--[income tax had nothing to do with it]--from 50% to 15%. I voted AGAINST that bill b/c I knew unless the Legislature reduced government spending proportionally, there was going to be a budget gap. It's common-sense......when you spend more than you take in you go in debt. Btw, check the voting records on your page. Nevertheless, before the bill was submitted to reduce the Luxury Tax to 15%, I submitted a bill that reduced the tax to only 25% (half) and then reduced overally Government spending by 50%. You went on a tirade by saying the cuts were to deep yet they were proportional to the tax cut (50% Luxury Tax = 60 Billion RUT budget; 25% Luxury Tax = 30 Billion RUT budget). P.S.: In closing, I will concede that my previous Administration did make a fatal flaw. However, you cannot even pinpoint it. You made serious reservations about raising the Luxury Tax TOO high at 50%. I defended it by saying it was necessary to maintain a 60 billion RUT budget. However, I admit that you were right and I was wrong on THAT point b/c the 50% Luxury Tax juxaposed with a 60 Billion budget balloned the size of the Federal Government. Now, the budget was balanced with a SURPLUS and everything was "fine and dandy" from that perspective, BUT too much government spending in the economy resulted in inflation and high interest rates which depressed the investment spending of Rutania's GDP. That's what economists call "Fiscal Crowding Out." Of course, when I tried to pass legislation to fix that flaw, you voted against citing that the spending cuts were too deep.......and you call yourself a "conservative"(LOL)?! |

Message | Everything was fine??? Only about 250,000 people payed taxes! Out of a population of 150 Million! I'm sorry, but you screwed up the economy when you decided you want to be like America. Well guess what. This isn't America, so GIVE UP! I ask all parties to try and return our fair nation to proper taxes, and a proper budget. |
