With all our restrictions on environmental policy to keep companies in line, why not make them bear the cost of disposing of their own waste? this would provide a financial incentive to produce less wasteful product, and make our private companies more ecology friendly. |

Current: It is the responsibility of local governments to decide on waste disposal regulation.
Proposed: Private companies are responsible for disposing of their own waste. The government disposes of residential waste.
