MessageAre the dorvic streets so dangerous to equip ALL police with military grade, extremely expensive weapons? Maybe some special intervensions squads, but I don't think police officers in an asscrack town where stealing potatoes is the most serious offence allow for kevlar armor.

MessageI'm sure the electorate appreciate being called an 'asscrack town'. Of course highly armed police are necessary, they will deter potato thieves. Never again do Dorvikians have to hide their potatoes from criminals!

MessageI do think police should have access to military grade equipment, but it shouldn't be standard. Sidearms work well enough most of the time, especially considering the populace is now armed to the teeth. :)

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar).
