Bill: Policing & National Emergencies Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: United Liberal Alliance
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2098
Description[?]:
Obviously we believe that a civilian police force should be entirely seperate from the military and that normally the military should play no part in policing operations in order to maintain confidence and integrity in Telamon's policing system. However we realise that certainly elements of the military can provide vital assistance in national emergenices shuch as natural disasters etc. and that in these situations therefore the military should be allowed to assist in what would normally be considered domestic polcing operations. Of course this MUST only apply to grave emergencies. |
