Bill: The Technology Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Totalitarian Capitalist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2467
Description[?]:
Article 1: There is no point in cloning of human beings being illegal. It makes highly beneficial scientific advances impossible, and leaves us trailing behind other countries in many aspects of medical research. Article 2: We propose that we keep our noses out of the computer software markets. Article 3: We also propose that we completely deregulate space exploration and usage. It doesn't belong to anyone, so why should we have rules and regulations citing how it can and cannot be exploited. |

Random fact: Parties have the ability to endorse another party's candidate for the Head of State election (if there is one). This adds a strategic element to the elections. |
