Message | We have not been to war with any other nation for many years, and nor has there been anything in the way of threats to our sovereignty in recent times. Indeed, this is a time of peace. And yet, it is certainly imperative that we maintain a military for defensive purposes, this much is indisputable. This military must be available to protect our nation at a moment's notice. During this time of peace, our military is not being put to use, in a way that it could. We therefore propose that, in an effort to increase our police force, the military be used to assist. This has an added advantage of allowing our soldiers to keep in training. This is a win-win situation. |

Message | I don't see how the military can work together with the police? Both of them go some what through different teaching and both of them do different stuff. Military should only be called in for serious emergencies that the police cannot handle. The military can use it's free time to do something else productive. It just won't work, for instance what will the military help with? |

Message | Military got other things to take care of than putting themselves into police work. Police was created for this, and military for defending country. Military should only be used in case of emergencies such as uncontrollable riots, or some high-risk operation, or anything similar that requires military. |

Message | In today's world, very little of the role of the military is warfare. For the large part, they do peacekeeping work in foreign countries, and all soldiers must be trained in this. This is very similar to domestic police work. |

Message | The military has no role in policing our people. They should be solely used for defense against attacks. We agree with the GLDS that this would move us closer to a police state. Therefore, we vote 'no' to this proposal. |
