Message | A couple of broken articles, which we shall have to see overturned, otherwise - a fine agenda. |

Message | (1) POWs should be treated according to high ethical standards b/c if they are not, then OUR prisoners of war will be treated contrary to those standards. That is the distinguished opinion of our generals and enlisted personel. (2) ADAMANTLY opposed b/c this is sexist and discriminatory to women who are intrinsically born with the same equal dignities of men. However, we strongly support not allowing women to serve in BATTLE positions on the front lines for biological reasons. (3) The United States that is on the planent Earth the other side of the galaxy actually outlawed the sale of alcoholic beverages in the 1900s. And do you know what was the RESULT??? The organized crime and illegal "bootlegging" arose b/c people still continued to drink underground. Therefore, if people are still going to drink, why criminalize it so that the Gov't cannot collect tax revenue from the whiskey as well as eliminate all of the jobs created from the alcohol industry??? (4) & (5): We are lukewarm on the smoking laws, but criminalization is unnecessary b/c current law FORBIDS public smoking outdoors, public parks, and government-owned buildings. What people do on their own private property is immaterial to government. But could be swayed to support b/c of the second-hand smoke argument. (6) & (7): STRONGLY support b/c lower taxes encourages growth!!! |

Message | OOC: CWFP, your continuous references to things that don't exist (eg the United States) within the context of the game is really becoming too much. I have tried on several occasions to be diplomatic about this issue but it seems you choose to ignore what myself and indeed other players are trying to politely tell you. The following do not exist in this game and therefore is irrelevant to include any references to them within the debates. 1. Bill Gates DOES NOT EXIST. He does not exist in Likatonia. He does not exist on Terra. 2. Donald Trump similarly does not exist. 3. The United States do not exist, have never existed and will probably never exist in the future. Nor does the Soviet Union, Richard Branson or even McDonalds. Coca Cola, the moon and Chrysler do not exist. The person you saw at the bus stop this morning while you went to work does not exist. Sometimes players invent characters similar in name and ideology to the real person and this is acceptable in context. "Chucky Darrwin" was a memorable invention from someone that I recall. So there may exist a Dickie Branzon, a Federated States of Crapistan and even a Kriezzler car company. If you wish to continue using real life examples and people there is little I can do about it, however I will simply not address points you raise within your argument connected with said reference. Other players will also find some amusement in your references to non existant people and places, and I will indeed be joining the chorus. My apologies if this sounds blunt, but I have tried on three occasions now to get the message across to you. |

Message | LFF, ok I get your point and I respect it for the eticette of the game. However, I tried to make the game seem more REALISTIC by imagining that the united States is on the Planet earth while Likatonia is on the Planet Terra on the other side of the galaxy. In other words, I was seeing it as a we were those "Intelligent Life beings" that they were talking about in that Independence Day movie(LOL)!!!. Nevertheless, I will respect the group's consensus 100%. |
