This bill is as follows: (1) Officially states that Federal Government will WASTE the people's time actively searching for illegal immigrants, BUT if they are found, they are deported b/c we can simply reward people for disregarding the rule of law. (2) Likatonia [the PEOPLE in context] is not and does not desire an oppressive POLICE STATE. Rather, local governments should police their own communities; (3) We don't believe it is necessary for police officers--even local---to carry machine guns in the street b/c it gives the illusion that "Big Brother" is watching the people. | Message | DWP, you are MISINTERPRETING our party's position on immigration. We STRONGLY support a vigorous and energetic LEGAL immigration policy. In fact, we believe that immigration should be simplified so as where it can take as little as a MONTH to get naturalized. However, we as Legislators cannot in good faith REWARD people for deliberately breaking our laws for if we do that, how long can we expect NATIVE-born citizens to do the same??? |
