Message | Religion is supersticious nonsense usually based on the ideas of old fashioned men hundreds of years ago. If we shall go forward as a nation they should be taught in history class mainly. We think it has its place in the buildings built for religion not in the schools. |

Message | We believe the current enshrined system of completely secularised education is both warranted and justified. Public institutions of education have to be value-neutral to both accommodate all students, and to allow children the chance to develop their own beliefs independently. If people wish to pray, they may do so in private or outside of public institutions. |

Message | Given that the state will not be funding the religious schools, I see no problem with them. Parents will teach their religion to their children whether there are religious schools or not, and it's up to the children to believe it or not, and they can always change their minds later. Or do some of you plan to make all religion illegal, even when it does absolutely no harm? I personally think that religion is bunk, but essentally criminalising it is not the way to deal with it. I say let people believe what they want as long as their beliefs aren't leading them to cause harm to others. |
