| Message | We support lower taxes in general. The only taxes should be reciprocal tariffs, luxury sales tax, and a very high inheritance tax to diminish aristocracy. However, inheritance tax is not available in this game. Luxury sales tax may not provide much money now, but we guarantee that if you lower the income tax to virtually nill, not only will the luxury sales tax bring in more money and supply most of the income, but it alone will grant the government budget more revenue than it has ever seen (this is actually in the game's programming). We have seen this market phenomenon occur many times in many other countries because the people have more money to spend. Having only a luxury sales tax would also strengthen the INS, lowering inflation and giving a boost to the economy in general. |
