MessageMay I point out that we do not share any borders with Beluzia? I would rather that we make defencive treaties with Malivia, Darnussia and Luthori as they are the countries with land borders. Even with just Malivia and Darnussia we would have protection from the whole of southern Artania. We would, however, support a non-agression pact similar to that with Rutania.

MessageThats true, but a treatie with the Beluzia will protect our back flanks and give us warning and vice-versa. Having a military allie that is covering your back, which also is nation which shares borders with the above nations can only help guuard the entire penisula. And the other treaty we have our non-agressive pacts, I think we should start slow with the Beluzians and then progress to more complex alliance, such as joint training, weapons development, and perhaps a military pact. If any nation on our penisula ever gets hit hard by an invasion, we are all screwed. Beluzia is in a ideal location to have a strategic allie. They can defend the southwest from attack while we can repel an attack from the east.

MessageWhilst we can agree with the basic idea behind this (we attempted to open negotiations with Beluzia a few years ago) we would like topoint some...unusual tendencies within Beluzia, not least the PPP's (Peoples Populist Party) Para-military organisation the PYS (Peoples Youth Squad) which has been invloved on multiple terrorist attacks within Beluzia, and along the Rutanian border.

MessageWe will ratify this treaty, however we are still aware of PYS operations within Beluzia and would ask that we put pressure on said Government to not only ban said group but also enforce said laws.
