Bill: War on Liberalism
Details
Submitted by[?]: National Arab Party of Kafuristan
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2470
Description[?]:
Backstory: Long time resentment of leftist parties in Kafuristan reach new heights when the National Arab Party's grip hold on a large portion of the legislature is lost in an electoral defeat. As the NAP's power becomes worthless as it struggles to halt the wave of socialist reforms, they attempt to seize the day and the nation with their position in the cabinet. The National Arab Party has decided that they have let our great nation deteriorate in progress under their rule. They continue to allow our nation stagnate compared to nations which have continued to expand their influence on the world sphere, such as Deltaria. Furthermore, we believe this stagnation is the direct result of a Leftist-Deltarian conspiracy to undermine and ultimately destroy the glorious Kafuristan nation in all it's might. The only way to save our great country is to purge them from it. ---=OOC=--- NAP Forces are at 317,000-366,000. The custom poll results vary. KSP Forces are at 91,000. NRP Forces are at 41,000. LDS Forces are at 174,000. RGP Forces are at 60,000. ROH Forces are at 51,000. RPK Forces are at 101,000. KPP Forces are at 104,000. (God bless Excel.) (My militia is only high because my people are more militant than yours, GO NRA!) Government Forces in Active Duty are at 1,042,637. Government Forces in Reserve (Maybe Civilian National Servicemen too) are at 781,978. Links you'll need: http://80.237.164.51/particracy/main/requestpoll.php http://www.takeforum.com/particracy/viewtopic.php?p=108427&mforum=particracy#108427 Use these two to calculate your own militias. The best way to tell if you did it correctly is that you get a similar (not exact) amount of militia if you tried to calculate the NAP forces. Parties voting for this will be siding along with the NAP in fighting the leftists. Parties voting against this will be siding against the NAP in fighting the leftists. Parties abstaining will simply step aside as civil war grips the nation. Parties in the cabinet voting for this will be added up and a percent of government military forces will support the NAP fighting the leftists. Parties in the cabinet voting against this will be added up and a percent of government military forces will be fighting against the NAP. Parties in the cabinet abstaining will be added up and a percent of government military forces will die in battle or desert from duty. |

Message | OOC: We need to discuss the terms with our KLC allies (assuming none decide to side with you or something), but we will probably agree. What militant percentage did you get for my party? I don't mind receiving a 10k increase in soldiers. |

Message | Depends. You would have to make it biased against you. Or make it seem the newspaper is corrupt by only releasing pieces of your announcements, to change the meaning of the announcement. |

Message | True, certainly we, the LDS, do! Why do we have to walk into death trap called Civil War? We need to face the threat against the Deltarian Government...I will make an announcement in KNN and condemn the actions of Deltarian if both the NAP and all the other parties in Kafuristan officialy support me. |

Message | Is a press conference featuring Ahlam Tayyaba (KSP leader and presidential candidate) and an unnamed KNN reporter acceptable as my contribution to the debate? Just have everyone post a speech, press conference, etc. declaring their position on the civil war. An actual debate wouldn't be televised in a situation like this, IMO. Use the press conferences, speeches, etc. to describe the positions our parties take in the debate but not actually show the debate itself. OOC: I've never RPed before, so how bad does this look to you? Televised Press Conference Kafuri Socialist Party Ahlam Tayyaba, Presidential Candidate and Party Head Ahlam Tayyaba, Head of the Kafuri Socialist Party and KSP presidential candidate held a press conference at the KSP HQ in Kuchifey. KNN Reporter: "Good afternoon, Mrs. Tayyaba. The NAP has recently declared its intent to purge the leftist parties from Kafuristan and accused the left of conspiring with Deltaria to destroy Kafuristan. What is the KSP response to th Ahlam Tayyaba: "The KSP condemns the NAP declaration. The idea that the KSP and the other KLC parties are responsible for the current state of affairs in Kafuristan is laughable. As is the idea that we are conspiring with Deltaria to destroy Kafuristan. Once again, the NAP is making irresponsible and unfounded accusations. KNN Reporter: How likely is a civil war? Ahlam Tayyaba: Unfortunately, the NAP is unlikely to back down. An old proverb, 'better a thousand enemies outside the house than one inside' describes the current KSP stance towards the NAP. KNN Reporter: Thank you for your time Mrs. Tayyaba. Following this press conference Tayyaba left for a meeting of all members of the KLC leadership. |
