Bill: Abortion Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Al'Badara Republican Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 2471
Description[?]:
This bill sets back the term limit a woman can have an abortion from the entire pregnancy to the first two terms of her trimester. We feel, in the AAP, that an abortion should be allowed at say 2 weeks before due when the baby could survive. An abortion so late in term is redundant to say the least. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Policy on the legality of abortions
Old value:: Abortion is allowed during the entire course of the pregnancy.
Current: Abortion is allowed during the entire course of the pregnancy.
Proposed: Abortion is allowed during the first and second trimesters.

Message | We agree to this bill in the hope that it will stem the increasing trend of pregnant women from Kafuristan travelling to Al'Badara for late term abortions, by bringing our regulations into line with those of our Majatran neighbours. |
Date | 00:42:18, October 16, 2007 CET | From | Al'Badara Republican Party | To | Debating the Abortion Bill |
Message | We noticed in the description of the bill a mistake that should be read as "an abortion should *NOT* be allowed two weeks before term". |
