Date | 04:01:43, October 19, 2007 CET | From | Meritocratic Justice Party | To | Debating the Soldier Privacy Act |
Message | This is the best of both worlds. It protects our homosexual soldiers from far right anti gay activists, while still allowing them in. In voting no you would be saying you hate gay people. |
Date | 04:29:20, October 19, 2007 CET | From | Swamp Party | To | Debating the Soldier Privacy Act |
Message | No, in voting no the Swamp Party is saying that sexual preference is not an issue that affects military fitness or patriotism. As it has no bearing, there is no reason not to tolerate it. You are suggesting, in essence, that we surrender to bigotry, which we find intolerable. |
