| My fellow Senators, it has now been nearly thirty years since the tragic events in the city of Kroton that killed a 100,000 and wounded millions. Because of the nuclear meltdown that destroyed most of the city and killed so many, the area will not be safe to live in for a century atleast. Because of this we have seen many shantytowns built throughout Lorrod and an influx of 3.7 million Urban refugees into other cities that were not prepared for them, and even now are still suffering from lack of legislation on the matter. However, over the last ten years an area, known as Phoenix city to its residents has started to grow roughly 110 miles East and 40 miles North of the area that was once the city Kroton. Because of this we ask that the area that was once Kroton be designated a long term disaster area, be taken off the official list of cities. Further we ask that Phoenix city, an unofficial city of 800,000 residents, of which 70% are originally form Kroton be recognized as a new city. |
